Symptoms
Strabismus or "squint" is a physiological loss of alignment of optical axes.
In this eye condition, both eyes do not set the same point in space. This deviation can be permanent or favored by situations of everyday life. In rare cases the squint may reveal systemic disease and it is therefore advisable to perform a quick eye examination to any child with a squint and that whatever its âge.La vision in one eye deviated will be hampered in its development (called amblyopia) and it is sometimes necessary to stimulate the eye by hiding the good eye in childhood.
